Podsystem has launched an initiative to supply M2M data SIM cards free to registered charities.  

We are able to provide a limited number of SIM cards to charities free of charge so that the savings made can be used to improve the charity's core services.  

We have no set criteria as to whom we will provide SIM cards, our only criteria is that the cost of the SIM cards and services would otherwise have to be met by donations.

As we would like to support a number of charities, rather than just one, if you require a large number of SIMs we may offer the SIMs below gross cost (below gross cost means that this would not include the cost of any of our time, but only the costs we are charged directly for the sim and network charges).  However, where possible, we would prefer to provide both the SIM card cost and the services free of charge.

As we are under no obligation to provide SIMs free of costs, any decisions we reach will be entirely at our own discretion.  All SIMs provided to charities will be subject to our Charity Terms & Conditions (please download here) and each SIM will be set up with a limit of megabytes that can be used each month as agreed with yourselves (this will depend upon your application).  This limit is put in place to avoid high charges as a result of stolen cards, fraud or faulty hardware.

In the future we are hoping to launch an independent website to draw other suppliers who wish to provide services free of charge to charities.  However, before this, if you are a charity using hardware or services which use SIM cards, please let us know, as we may be able to approach some of our clients to see if they would be willing to support your work.
