Service Agreement

All Astrata solutions are offered on a per unit Service Agreement basis.

Prospective clients do not need to spend any valuable capital expenditure on the Sirius-Lite units. The only initial expenditure is for the installation of the Sirius-Lite units into the relevant vehicles requiring management, and a one off single administration fee of £95.00.

The installation of a vehicle management system on a Service Agreement basis is also extremely tax efficient, as clients will be able to claim the entire service as an operating expense.

UNITED KINGDOM Vehicle Solution

Standard 3-wire system – 12 volt power + ignition: Price for a 36-month Service Agreement for each Sirius-Lite Vehicle Management System. This price is inclusive of 3Mb of data on the T-Mobile GSM network, 24-hour access to all Sirius-XP management reports and features, and 24-hour monitoring by Astrata’s insurance approved monitoring bureau.	£30.00 per month

Peripheral Equipment All bespoke solutions require that peripheral equipment, and/or detectors are linked to the standard Sirius-Lite 3-wire installation. The price of each piece of peripheral equipment must be added to the standard Service Agreement price, in order to determine the price of all proposals requiring the addition of peripheral equipment. The Astrata Sales Team will be available to ensure that the pricing of all proposals is accurate.

Driver identification: a) To supply and install a Dallas tag with contact reader to provide Driver Identification to enable clients to manage drivers. This facility is available in May 2005. b) Includes the added facility of linking the ignition to vehicle immobilization, the vehicle will not start without the tag. This facility is available in June 2005 at no extra cost.	+£6.00 per month

Remote emergency button: To supply a remote emergency button and receiver with a range of 50-100 meters.	+£3.50 per month

Recessed door contact: Supply of a recessed reed switch sensor on the ‘first to open’ rear door of the vehicle/s - to enable door opening detection. PLEASE NOTE: Astrata recommend that alarm detectors are only fitted after a technical evaluation of the vehicles concerned, the additional labour required, and an investigation of the scale of the opportunity.	+£3.00 per month

Dual technology detectors: To supply a PIR system that puts a curtain beam across the internal side of the roof of a trailer. PLEASE NOTE: Astrata recommend that alarm detectors are only fitted after a technical evaluation of the vehicles concerned, the additional labour required, and an investigation of the scale of the opportunity.	+£6.00 per month

Trailer Solution

The Sirius-Lite unit will be re-housed in a stainless steel casing incorporating 12-volt sealed lead acid batteries giving approximately 40 days of normal operation of the system.	+ £9.00 per month

EUROPEAN SOLUTIONS

All Astrata Pan-European solutions are offered on a Service Agreement basis. The Pan-European price includes of 1Mb of data on the T-Mobile GSM network, 24-hour access to all Sirius-XP management reports and features, and 24-hour monitoring by Astrata’s insurance approved monitoring bureau. PLEASE NOTE: This price includes all GPRS ‘roaming’ charges that may be required to provide normal operation of the solution.	+ £10.00 per month

Additional Equipment The pricing of all additional/trailer equipment installed in Europe is the same as the UK.

Installation Costs: Installation of the Sirius-Lite Vehicle Management System:	£65.00 per vehicle

De-Installation and Re-Installation Costs: Professional removal / re-installation of a Sirius-Lite:	£75.00 per vehicle

De-install / Re-install kit: This kit includes both a new GSM and a new GPS antenna. Astrata recommend that clients do not re-use GSM or GPS antennas, and will supply these accessories to clients at Astrata’s cost price.	£30.00 per vehicle

Maintenance costs If a Sirius-Lite unit becomes faulty during the initial 36-month period, Astrata will replace the unit free of charge under the terms of the Service Agreement. This will be done immediately after a client’s authorised staff member has undertaken 1st line repairs, E.G. pushing the test button on the relevant Sirius-Lite units to perform a diagnostic test on the unit, and checking for obvious wiring damage. However, Astrata do not guarantee Sirius-Lite units that become faulty due to Acts of God, vandalism, incorrect operation, or alteration of vehicle wiring by untrained staff.
